Art isn’t something you can earn from

Art isn’t something you can earn from. They say everyone’s an artist until the rent is due,

Because art isn’t something you can earn from. Oscar Wilde once said that art is useless, all it requires is passion and intense admiration. Art is meaningful because of the love and the intensity of emotions.

Van Gogh became famous because of his and his brother’s love for each other. Art is an expression, Art is begging someone to notice, It’s yearning and screaming for attention.

It’s making painful observations and sharp one-liners. Art is a series of love letters that you want people to read and understand. It’s wanting to make people laugh, Because you think it’s the only way you can make someone happy; It’s the only way you feel like you’re worth something.

Artists are lonely, They’re insane, They’re obsessed, They’re filled with intensity And this sheer need to express, To share all their emotions.

Art holds value to those who understand the story behind it.

To you art, at the end of the day isn’t the starry night, it isn’t a Monet, it’s the drawing your 3-year-old did at school of you and your family all happy and loved.

To me, it’s the messily painted but lovingly done nails by my little cousin.

To my mom, it’s the cup I scribbled on when I was 10.

Art is love. It’s someone out there who loved me enough to preserve me in a painting and thought we deserved happiness. It’s heartache, it’s the song of the sea painted in blues and hues of sorrow. It’s a mother’s lullaby she sings in adoration of her child.

Art can’t always be about money, it’s priceless and heartwarming. True art cannot be made out of compulsion.

It cannot be made to sell. It’s always made out of love, inspiration, of stories and insane minds. You put a gun to my head, I cannot conjure art. You tell me I’ll pay you millions, I cannot conjure art till I get inspiration. You break my heart, You’ll find tragedies and Shakespearean plays.

You give me love and You find sunflowers and tulips.
